Style of Middle-earth

 Being below level cap definitely has its drawbacks, not being able to actually feel safe in higher level areas, not having access to all cosmetic pieces, and many more, but I have found that even being in the mid-60's level wise, I can get access to almost all of the things I could get at level cap, including journeying into Rohan... and almost western Rohan. I started looking around Middle-earth for a proper place for this outfit, one that would compliment the outfit with overpowering it, but nothing seemed to work. The Shire had too many flowers, and all places that were white had snow. So, I was about to give up on this outfit. But, Mak's adopted mother (and part-time travel agent and pilot), brought me down to Rohan, and right there, in Rohan, was the perfect scenery. It has been quite sometime (since last year actually) that I made my last "Crafted Sets with Cosmetic Value" post, but it seemed about time I re-visited that subject.  I have recently been quite in love with the whole Elvish cosmetic look, and this set is perfectly Elvish. Soft lines, tons of leaf patterns... it is all there.   Starting from the top of the outfit down, lets start with the shoulder guards. They are of simple design, but have a arrow like pattern on them, with other bits of gold laced throughout. The chest-piece is lovely in design, highlighting a simple v-neck cut, and more gold banding.  The gloves and leggings follow the general simple and pretty design, soft curves with gold highlighting. I really like the leggings, due to the fact of how the design is. They have a skirt like overlay over the tighter thigh and calf area, which has different shapes of gold.  I have been very excited to continue my use of wardrobe with this next outfit, even though I only used it for the shoulders. The inspiration for this outfit comes from the fields in the Shire, and harvest, even though it is nowhere near the autumn harvest. This seems an outfit a hobbit could wear while farming, or perhaps, eating what they farmed.  The circlet was chosen because of how at least part of the world is starting to bloom, and maybe the Shire is blooming too. The shoulders come from the gorgeous trees that are green, and the brown of the shoulders comes from the deep, rich soil. A very exciting thing has happened in my career as a cosmetic blogger: I finally purchased Wardrobe after a very long time. Quite a while ago, I started picking up pieces that were way above my level, and began to dye them and leave them in my vault, waiting for the day that I got shared wardrobe and could actually wear them in game.  I felt like I needed a special location to mark this special occasion, so I headed down to an area I had only traveled through once (and that was during Taking the Hobbits to Isengard, so we didn't stop): Galtrev, and the surrounding areas of Dunland. In my mind, Dunland is the start of Rohan, on the very outskirts, and has a bit of a Rohan-y feel. So, since my outfit is supposed to show a traveler, it required components of a traveler: shoulder guards or a cloak that could keep their shoulders and neck warm, functional boots and gloves, for both snow and heat, and a hauberk. Like usual, for me, this outfit started off in my mind inspired completely by one piece of the outfit I picked up: the shoulder guards. I found a pair of super awesome shoulder guards in the Auction Hall, and I couldn't resist purchasing them. They boasted a unique shape and style, with reds, oranges, and yellows striped throughout, and all in all, they were a total eye-catcher. The shoulders reminded me of the Anniversary festival, which is taking place right now ingame, and the fireworks that are a large part of the festival.  The second piece that I chose was the backpack, which is red, and has tons of fireworks sticking out of it. “Elvish singing is not a thing to miss, in June under the stars, not if you care for such things.”   The base inspiration behind this outfit is the golds, greens, and white-greys of Lorien. The golden leaves of the trees inspire the gold laced throughout the outfit. The green grass draws out the hints of green in the boots and cape, and the white-grey tree stumps inspire the general color of the outfit.  I have seemingly become lazy about my outfit - I have started skipping weeks to post, and I have not taken the time to take screenshots. But I am hoping I can put that behind me, and give everyone some new inspiration and such. For quite some time, I have loved the Elvin styled outfits - those with tops that flow into leggings, with go into softly curved boots, which go into soft shoulder-guards. Everyone has those days when they are bored and have too much time on their hands. Two days ago, that was the situation I was in. I was logged in on Makaia, and was looking through Lalia's Market, and did what I've done many times before: style outfits (that I cannot afford) with all the assorted pieces throughout the market. But then I thought to myself, "why in the world am I making these outfits, but doing nothing with them?". So, I decided to share with you guys three outfits I made.  The first outfit, shown above, is a little outfit I'm calling "Keeper of Stones". It is mainly inspired by the rune-keeper class (a class which I don't have.. sad, I know). The shoulder guards flowed so nicely into the robe, and I loved the simplicity of the outfit.
