Defender of the Sutcrofts

 Rohan is and always be one of my favorite regions in all of Middle-earth, with its open plains and gorgeous skies. The Sutcrofts is a region that really encompasses all of the things that I love about Rohan. The fields are so very green, with large bushes and trees, and a sky of the most gorgeous color.  I've always loved the hauberk that came with the Helm's Deep expansion purchase, with its white horse emblem, the dark green background, and the bits of chainmail. I wanted simple shoulders and gloves that would also give a very warrior-like look and feel, besides giving the main attention to the chest piece.  I wanted a statement cape, as that isn't something I use much, and with the man killing an orc on the back of it, it is indeed a statement piece. The boots were warlike and a strong finishing piece. A kinmate has recently been requesting that I made a few warsteed pairings, so I decided to put one that I made on beta with this outfit! Traveler of the Southern Lands

A very exciting thing has happened in my career as a cosmetic blogger: I finally purchased Wardrobe after a very long time. Quite a while ago, I started picking up pieces that were way above my level, and began to dye them and leave them in my vault, waiting for the day that I got shared wardrobe and could actually wear them in game.  I felt like I needed a special location to mark this special occasion, so I headed down to an area I had only traveled through once (and that was during Taking the Hobbits to Isengard, so we didn't stop): Galtrev, and the surrounding areas of Dunland. In my mind, Dunland is the start of Rohan, on the very outskirts, and has a bit of a Rohan-y feel. So, since my outfit is supposed to show a traveler, it required components of a traveler: shoulder guards or a cloak that could keep their shoulders and neck warm, functional boots and gloves, for both snow and heat, and a hauberk.
